UMASA is going to participate, alongside a large number of other unions (GWU, UHM, CMTU, MUT, MUMN, MUBE, UCC, ALPA, UHBC, UPASP, COP, LRU, MUPP, UPAP) in the demonstration to be held this Friday 14 November, starting at 5:15pm at Freedom Square in Valletta. The demonstration is in protest against the increase in the water and electricity tariffs, and against the threat to constructive social dialogue.
We would like to urge all UMASA members to attend this demonstration.
